Our founder, Dave Laiderman, started developing restaurant tech in college when he and his friends created an online ordering platform to give restaurants a competitive edge and ensure their Friday pizzas arrived on time.
Fast forward 15 years and Dave teamed up with Ed Kniep to create a platform that could maximize the productivity of wait staff without sacrificing high-touch service. While talking to hundreds of owners, they realized how inconvenient it was to have separate services for ordering and payments – especially when guests want to control the pace of their experience.
That insight led to OrderEx: our integrated dining experience platform that bundles ordering, service, and payment into one seamless system.
